Holy Trinity hosts a wide variety of carol services and other events, for all ages, as we prepare for Christmas. All of these can be found on our calendar, and on the new Church of England website, A Christmas Near You.

Sunday 10th December

Festival Carol Service (6.00 – 7.30 p.m.)

Our traditional carol service amid the trees, to round off the Christmas Tree Festival.

Sunday 17th December

Family Carol & Nativity Service (9.45 – 11.00 a.m.)

An all-age service of sung carols, with children’s nativity play, in Church
Followed by mince pies and mulled wine, served in the Old School.

Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols (6.00 – 7.30 p.m.)

A traditional service of bible readings, poems, sung carols and choral anthems, following the Christmas story.
Followed by mince pies and mulled wine, served in the Old School.

Thursday 21st December

The Cuckfield Nativity (6.00 – 7.30 p.m.)

Join us as we journey from the church, hearing the Christmas Story as we travel through the churchyard and area around the church, singing carols, meeting Mary and Joseph, angels, shepherds, Fluffy the (real) sheep, and kings, before we find the Holy Family in the Old School
Bring a torch, and wrap up warm as well!
Followed by mince pies and mulled wine, served in the Old School.

Christmas Eve

Crib Service (2.30 – 3.15 p.m.)

Short Christmas service aimed especially for families, in Church.
Due to limited capacity, entry is by ticket only. Tickets are free, and are available from Gill in the Church Office, in the Old School, Mon-Fri 9-12am.

Crib Service (4.00 – 4.45 p.m.)

Short Christmas service aimed especially for families, in Church.
Due to limited capacity, entry is by ticket only. Tickets are free, and are available from Gill in the Church Office, in the Old School, Mon-Fri 9-12 a.m.

Short Christmas service aimed especially for toddlers & babies, in the Old School.

Midnight Mass (11.15 P.M. – 00.15 a.m.)

Celebratory service with Communion, in Church.
This is a very popular service, so early arrival is strongly recommended!

Christmas Day

Christmas Holy Commmunion (8.00-8.45 a.m.)

Early communion service following the Book of Common Prayer liturgy for Christmas morning.

Christmas Family Eucharist (9.45 – 11.00 a.m.)

All-age Communion service to celebrate Christmas, with carols, in Church.
