The Friends of Holy Trinity has been established to bring together all who value the building and the fabric of Holy Trinity Church and wish to ensure that it can be preserved and enhanced for this and future generations.
The Friends’ committee comprises elected members with a minor representation from the Parochial Church Council and meets on a regular basis to focus actively on:
- encouraging a wider awareness and appreciation of Holy Trinity Church
- arranging an annual programme of events
- identifying projects within the Church that The Friends would like to support
- raising funds to support those projects
How do the Friends raise Funds?
Primarily through supporters joining and agreeing to a modest annual subscription of £20 (Joint £30) or a one-off lifetime subscription of £250 (Joint £400). These include visitors to the Church and those who have moved away from Cuckfield and wish to retain a link.
We also raise funds by organising an annual programme of events which usually includes a Spring Concert, Summer Luncheon, October Concert and a preview of the Christmas Tree Festival some of which are open to the general public.
The facilities in the Church and flexibility of seating enable Holy Trinity to afford a more attractive and comfortable venue for community events and to host nationally-acclaimed performances.
